It's 16 days to go until the third FREE update to Burnout Paradise, Codename: Cagney arrives.



Last week, we concentrated on the cool new game mode additions that are coming in the Cagney update such as Online Stunt Run, Online Marked Man and Online Road Rage. Not to mention all of the enhancements coming to Ranked Racing.

This week, it's Freeburn Challenges Week, where we'll turn our spotlight on the awesome new Timed Challenges coming in Cagney.

In these, up to eight players get together online to cooperate in a two-stage challenge. The first stage sees the players driving to a rendez-vous point somewhere in Paradise City. Once they're all there, the second part of the challenge begins, and it's timed, so players must rush to beat the clock and complete the challenge together.

But it doesn't end there - the best times are recorded on a Leaderboard so you compare how well you did and try again to get an even faster personal best.
