CRITERION GAMES

Mon 31 Dec - It's Your Letters

Got a great email in from Dave [so not a fictional character by the way] who writes, "Is it true that in the full game there are lots more things to do than in the demo?" Well yes Dave that is true. There are more events you can try like Marked Man and Road Rage, and a whole load more of Paradise City that you haven't seen yet, even if you have been trying to peak through the gaps in the road blocks. There's too much to mention here, so I suggest that you visit burnout.ea.com; the website for all your Burnout Paradise needs.

Oh boy, is it January yet? Maybe it is, depending on when you read this. If so, Happy New Year! If you're new to my column then fear not, you can scroll down to read the old ones and check out all the mini challenges I have been inspired to set while playing the demo for the last couple of weeks.

This week I thought that we could up the challenge a bit; so it comes in two parts. First of all I want you all to try going a different way to the other drivers when you retry the race. Maybe take a right somewhere early along 9th Street, and then try to beat your rivals to the Country Club. Part two is for you Burning Route fans out there and was sent in by long time Burnout fan Steve who's been playing the demo for almost as long as me. He says that it is possible to complete the Burning Route and (I almost didn't believe it until I saw it done)... collect 4 Burnout Billboards along the way. Seems impossible I know, but after a couple of attempts I managed it... just! I'll give out a hint for that one next time.

Good luck people.
