With just a few days to go until Burnout Paradise hits shop shelves the first run of reviews are in.

The folk over at IGN ( Xbox 360 review or PS3 Review) gave the game an 8.8 and said "If you're even a remote fan of racing games, be sure to check this out". While TeamXbox ( Xbox 360 review) said "Criterion has once again figured out how to create an extreme racing game that, quite simply, has no rivals" and awarded Paradise a 9.2! Praise was also piled onto Paradise from The Guardian ( Xbox 360 and PS3 review) with them saying "The level design is amazing, the graphics are mind-blowing, exploration proves to be rewarding" and bestowing a score of 4/5. "Paradise City offers so many cleverly hidden secrets to discover that you need not even tackle the 120 instantly accessible events to get lost in the engrossing metropolis" cried 1up ( Xbox 360 review or PS3 Review) as they dished out a 9.
