MUGSHOTS
Great innovation with PlayStation Eye and Xbox Live Vision
Here at Criterion Games, we have great track record for making use of hardware innovation.
On PlayStation 2 and Xbox, we produced cutting edge visuals and sound, pushed online development with online racing and save & share crash replays.
On PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, we created our most ambitious game yet - Burnout Paradise - and took on a heap of challenges: seamless online and offline play; a heavy focus on social gaming; a massive, dynamic open world; custom soundtracks; Trophies, Achievements and much, much more.
Both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 feature excellent plug-in cameras.

We wanted to make great use of the cameras to create a friendlier, more sociable online experience for everyone. We came up with Mugshots. Here's what it's all about.
Attach your PlayStation Eye to PlayStation 3 or Xbox Live Vision to your Xbox 360. For PlayStation 3:
Holding the connector for the PlayStation Eye USB camera, securely insert the connector to one of the USB connections in the front of the console. The LED power indicator (blue) on the front of the camera should light up blue to indicate that the PlayStation Eye is now ready for action.
Play Burnout Paradise on an online-enabled console. If an online player knocks you off the road (a Takedown), your camera takes a picture of you and sends it to that player - a Mugshot!

Beat an online Road Rule, and you can send a picture to all the players in the session showing how awesome you are - a Smugshot!

Go into Under the Hood -> Options and you can then set the USB CAMERA FEED to OFF, or FRIENDS ONLY - so you can only trade Mugshots with people you know.
