There are 128 events in Road Rules - a huge stash of gameplay spread throughout Paradise City.

Road Rules comprises 2 events - Road Rules Time Events and Showtime.

Road Rules Time Events

Road Rules Time Events are against-the-clock time trial events - one for each of the 64 streets in the game.

To beat the event, you need to beat the target time for each road. That means selecting a fast car, taking a long run-up and then blasting it the full length of the road. If you're quick enough, you beat the time. Beat both the Time and the Showtime Score for each road to "own" the road.

Road Rules Showtime Events

Showtime gives you the opportunity to play a Burnout crash!

Hit the triggers to trigger Showtime - your car will start to cartwheel down the road. If you've got boost, press X (on PlayStation 3) or A (on Xbox 360) to bounce your wreck as it impacts the road. Score dollar damage for every traffic car you hit and multipliers for buses in order to maximise your score, but don't go long without crashing into something or the timer will run down, and the game will finish.
