Last night, in celebration of the first ever 24 Hours in Paradise session, we pointed our webcam towards something special: an in-development version of Burnout Paradise showing Paradise City going through its day-night cycle - a feature that will be coming to the game in August 2008 in the Davis update.
As many guessed, this was a special version of the game that we locked to the real-time clock so that everyone playing through the night could see the time of day change in Paradise City as they played. In the final version of the game we expect to have an accelerated day-night cycle.
Because of the fantastic response, we've decided to leave the webcams running for another night for everyone to enjoy. And, also, here is a shot of the city as night falls at around 10pm...

There will be no Crash TV or Crash FM podcasts this week.
We had a great time recording last week's Crash TV video podcast and Crash FM audio podcast, but now we've made the switch to video on iTunes, we want to focus on making some big improvements to the show.
This will put us out of action for a week, but we'll be back next week with an all-new Crash TV.
We hope to see you then!
We're changing the way we bring you the news from Criterion
Games – the home of Burnout Paradise.
We want to bring you closer to the action, which is why we're enabling the guys from the team to talk you through their work in person.
That means more video, less text. Here's MattF to tell you about a new display option for our
upcoming PC game that's got the studio buzzing.

We'd love to hear what other players think. To discuss this on our forums, this forum thread has been set up.
These guys are our die-hard Burnout fans! Look out for them online soon for a great session.
We're pleased to finally be able to say that the VIDEO version of our CRASH FM podcast is now available for download on iTunes.
There were a few delays getting this first video podcast onto iTunes - Apple reckon it'll be a couple of days before it's searchable.
In future we're aiming to make both Crash FM (the audio podcast) and Crash TV (the video podcast) available simultaneously.
For now, we'll bring you the same awesome content in both formats, but as you know, we're pushing to change and improve all the time. We're exploring different ways of bringing you video, so we may split them out at a later date. Obviously, we'll tell you here at criteriongames.com, if we do.
